Can I book online?
Yes. We have a online booking engine which ensures that your personal and credit card details are transferred securely using the Equifax 128 byte encryption digital certificate. You will receive immediate confirmation of your booking both on screen and via email.
Do you provide linen and towels?
Yes, we provide bed linen and towels for six persons. Tea towels are also provides.
What is not included in the price?
You will need to bring your own food as well as wood or briquettes (not coal) if you would like to put on the fire.
Can I book for one or two nights?
The minimum stay that we offer is two nights. However it is not uncommon that guests stay for one night. When you are booked in for two, you can stay as late as they wish on your day of departure instead of having to vacate the premises by 11:00 am.
How many persons does the log cabin sleep?
The log cabin sleeps 4(+2). The main en suite bedroom has a double and a single so it can sleep two persons either as a couple or two as singles. The second en suite bedroom has a double bed. The living area has a double futon.
Can we book nearby activities through you?
The information on our website relating to activities in and around Glenmalure is for information purposes only. We do not handle bookings for these companies. Please contact them directly.
How do I get there?
Directions to Glenmalure are provided on our website, the link to which we will also email you shortly before your arrival date.
Are there other log cabins nearby to rent?
Our lodge is part of a closely knit cluster of log cabins. It has an uninhibited view up the Glenmalure valley from the sun deck. We have a number of neighbours with similar lodges to rent. You can check out their lodges here. If you wish to secure a number of lodges we strongly recommend that you book well in advance.
Is Glenmalure suitable for children?
Clara Lara Fun Park and Greenan Maze are both nearby and we have a number of children's DVDs available. There is no real room for children to play or kick a ball directly at the lodge. A travel cot is available.
Can I purchase a gift voucher?
We sell gift vouchers for any price that you choose. We will send you an email with a link to the online voucher which you can then present. You will find a sample under:

Unfortunately we do not have any paper based brochures as we market our property exclusively over the Internet.
Does the property have wheelchair access?
Glenmalure is tucked away on the side of a hill. The are about 15 steps down to the house which make the property unsuitable for wheelchairs.
